Weeks 1 & 2
- Accountability- responsibility to someone or for some action; the fact of being answerable to someone for something
- Collaborate- To work together, especially in a joint intellectual effort.
- Expectation- The act of being expecting.
- Goal-The purpose toward which an endeavor is directed; an objective
- Integrity- Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
- Objective- Something worked toward or striven for; a goal
- Procedure- A series of steps taken to accomplish an end
- Respect- To feel or show deferential regard for
- Blog- A weblog.
- Browser- A program that accesses and displays files and other data available on the Internet and other networks.
- Default- A particular setting or value for a variable that is assigned automatically by an operating system and remains in effect unless canceled or overridden by the operator:
- Link- A segment of text or a graphical item that serves as a cross-reference between parts of a hypertext document or between files or hypertext documents.
- Publish- To bring to the public attention; announce
- Website- A set of interconnected web pages, usually including a homepage, generally located on the same server, and prepared and maintained as a collection of information by a person, group, or organization.
Weeks 3 &4
- Algorithm- A list of variables used to solve a problem.
- Boolean- Uses operators such as AND, OR, NOT, and XOR.
- Conditional Statement- A statement performed if true or false.
- Debug- Looking into an issue and removing errors that are found.
- Event handle- Steps that are used to handle the event, allowing a programmer to write code that will be used when the event occurs.
- Glitch- An issue with a program caused by a mistake in the programming.
Weeks 11 &12
- Fuel cell- A cell that produces electric current from chemical reactions.
- Incinerate- To destroy.
- Limitation- A restriction.
- Offset- To counteract something, with an opposite effect.
- Packet- Block of data transmitted across the network.
- Pneumatic- Containing or operated by air or gas under pressure.
- Recycle- To convert waste into a reusable material.
- Specifications- A detailed description of the design and materials used to make something.
- Tangent- A straight line or plane that touches a curve or curved surface at a point, but if extended does not cross it at that point.
- Work- Activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result.
